Duncan has worked in mental health for many years and has held
various positions, from Support Worker on an acute ward to Service Manager for Social Services. He has also worked as an Involvement Worker in Portsmouth, Hampshire and was the User Engagement Lead
for Time to Change.
In recent years, Duncan's role at Mind has involved developing
strategy and direction for peer support programmes across England and Wales, which has included bringing to life the national event PeerFest and Marsh Awards.
Very recently, he's taken up the role of CEO of CAPITAL
Project Trust, a peer led organisation operating in Sussex.
Duncan brings experience of peer support and community led projects to his
current role as Chair of Nurture.
He enjoys walking by the sea, gardening, keeping fish and likes to dabble with creative pastimes such as making stained glass panels.
